*Fully complete the application. NOTE – you will see a ? on each page of the application. Click on the ? to see additional instructions/information pertaining to the page of the application that you are on.
*Pay the required fee* by Credit Card or Check. If paying by CREDIT CARD, you will be able to electronically print your license immediately. If paying by check, you must submit a PAPER check to the address indicated on the payment invoice. See the Fee Schedule. Separate payment is required for each application. $20.00 will be charged for each check dishonored by the bank.
*If Continuing Education is required see the Continuing Education Note below. Non-residents who have met the Continuing Education requirements of their Home State need not take New York Continuing Education Courses.
Submit online by 12/31/2016 or your license will expire.
*ADJUSTERS – Each applicant must submit a complete new bond covering the full licensing period of January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2018 in the penal sum of $1,000 as required by Section 2108 of the Insurance Law. Once this online application has been completed, THE BOND MUST BE SUMITTED TO THIS DEPARTMENT WITHIN 7-10 DAYS WITH A COPY OF THE APPLICATION PAYMENT INVOICE. ADJUSTER RENEWAL LICENSES WILL NOT BE ISSUED UNTIL THE APPLICATION IS FULLY PROCESSED, PAYMENT MADE, AND A FULLY AND CORRECTLY COMPLETED BOND IS RECEIVED WITH ORIGINAL SIGNATURES; IF NOT RECEIVED BY DECEMBER 31, 2016, THE LICENSE WILL EXPIRE.
